The Quest to reign the skies.

Hi,

We all have received much hype and news about the two brand new aircrafts launched a few months ago by the biggest rivals Airbus and Boeing. Each of their aircrafts is a masterpiece of sophisticated technological marvel and extreme engineering. The Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 are difficult to compare as the flaws, if any, are compensated by another special feature. Yet, the competition to conquer the skies is being fought head on and both the rivals are ever-ready to fine-tune their machines. As an aviation enthusiast, I constantly keep myself updated on new developments on any aircraft and especially these two. Due to the rapid growth in technology, we are in a fix as to ascertain the true dominance of the skies. Well, people like us, who are not in direct contact with these machines, cannot be more thankful for the companies manufacturing scale-models and simulation software which give us way more to learn than just a taste of these machines.

Taking into consideration the scale-models in the sizes 1:200, 1:100 and 1:500, these can give us a clear understanding of the aerodynamics and airflow features of the aircraft. Needless to say, the 1:100 models are more than just enough to study an entire aircraft's outer structure at the amateur level. However, at an expert level, a much detailed 1:52 0r 1:23 models would do the job. But lets face it, only models are used at initial level to study aircrafts. The experts have done their job of analysis and engineering on these machines, so now it's being served on the platter, for us amateurs, to make an in-depth analysis in a much more lively and fun manner not withstanding the educative aspect of the study.

In this blog, I appeal to fellow aviation enthusiasts to make small efforts to focus on specific topics on aircrafts and share opinions, contradictions, facts and anything that can keep us updated on the aviation industry news.
